Shalom. My name is Kerry Battle. I’m a covenant-keeping husband, father, grandfather, teacher, and entrepreneur—set apart by Yahuah to awaken Israel and guide the stranger into truth. I serve as the shepherd of Ahava~Love Assembly, a Scripture-only family of believers. We walk in obedience to the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings, with our faith firmly rooted in Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. I don’t teach religion. I don’t follow tradition. I teach the Word of Yahuah—raw, pure, and uncut. Line by line. Precept upon precept. Each week, I lead Shabbat Torah classes, Wisdom Studies in Psalms and Proverbs, and live teachings across platforms, calling Yahuah’s people back to the covenant through Yahusha. But my ministry doesn’t stop at the mic. I'm also the founder of Pest King LLC, a family-operated pest control business built with integrity, grit, and excellence. I believe righteousness applies to every part of life—from how we teach, to how we work, to how we lead our households. I’m married to my best friend, Karen, and together we are raising, teaching, and covering our family in truth. When Obedience Hurts

Because sometimes the narrow path comes with bruises, not applause.

We love to talk about obedience when it feels good.
When it gets us a breakthrough. When it aligns with our desires.
But what about when obedience hurts?

What about when walking in truth costs you relationships?
When it gets you unfollowed, misunderstood, or falsely accused?
When obeying Yahuah means you have to stand alone with no crowd, no applause, and no comfort?

Let’s be honest:
Sometimes obedience makes you look like the fool to the world…
but a friend of Yahuah in heaven.

“He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 10:37

Yahusha didn’t just teach with words. He lived the pain of obedience.
He was rejected, hated, falsely charged, mocked and He obeyed anyway.

Some of us are being called to lay down comfort, approval, and reputation
not because we’re doing something wrong,
but because we finally started doing what’s right.

So tonight, I’m asking you…

👉🏾 Can you obey when it’s lonely?

👉🏾 Can you obey when it doesn’t benefit you in the moment?
👉🏾 Can you obey when there’s no earthly reward?

Here’s the truth most don’t want to say:

💧 Obedience may cost you,
but disobedience will destroy you.

Yahuah is not interested in sacrifices.
He’s not looking for performance.
He’s looking for hearts that obey even when it hurts.

“To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”
— 1 Samuel 15:22

You may cry.
You may wrestle.
You may even lose people.

But if you obey Yahuah with a clean heart and pure motive,
He will reward you in a way the world can’t replicate.

So tonight, before you lay your head down…
Ask yourself:

“Am I obeying Yah, or am I negotiating with Him?”

Because in this hour, He’s not looking for the convenient.
He’s looking for the faithful.

Ahava in action is….Ahava in Action is…much more than just a word that is loosely spoken out the mouth of humankind. Love is clearly an action that is supported by the spoken word “Love”! Love is the best gift that any man or woman can give to their spouse, a father or mother to their children or vice versa. The greatest ensample of love that has ever been shown and that will ever be, is of Abba  Yah first creating mankind then later, after our many wicked and rebellious actions he gave us His only unique Son, Yahusha, to redeem His people & bride, the body of believers! The greatest and most memorable display of LOVE in ACTION! As a matter of fact, The Messiah both said it  “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay his life down for his friends…”  and shortly after he said it, he showed it,”When Yahusha had therefore recieved the vinegar, he said, It is finished, and he bowed his head, and gave up the ruach”. HalleluYah! Let us be imitators of our wonderful Creator and Master, Yah, and his yachiyd, Yahusha, and show love.John 3:16 “For Yah so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.I John 4:10 :Here is what love is: not that we have loved Yah, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the kapparah (atonement) for our sins.”Galatians 5:22-23  “But the fruit of the spirit is lovde. joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
