Search the Scriptures and Study the Word

Read the Scriptures carefully, examine the context, and compare translations with Hebrew and Greek texts. The King James Version is a familiar English starting point, not the oldest surviving manuscript. Scripture is the authority, not tradition.

How We Study the Scriptures

  • English: The KJV provides a familiar English reading text. Its 1611 publication date does not make it an ancient manuscript.
  • Hebrew: Compare the Hebrew Scriptures with a named textual edition, such as the Westminster Leningrad Codex, in a separate study resource.
  • Greek: Examine the New Testament in Greek, including the Textus Receptus, in a separate study resource. Different Greek editions can contain textual differences.
  • Names and notes: Ahava~Love Assembly uses Yahuah and Yahusha in its teaching. The displayed text of a published translation is identified honestly and not silently altered.
